Cabbage Heads Tavern in Franksville

One of my favorite restaurants in the area! Great place to grab lunch or a drink. They have awesome burgers and you have to try the cauliflower soup when they have it. Definitely need to check this place out if you’re in the area.

On a Friday the bar area was nearly empty and we were not allowed to sit at a table in the bar. We wanted to watch football so we said we would sit at the bar. We waited a very long time to get our drink order taken. The manager and worker both walked past several times including chatting with the same person, managers lady. When our drink order was taken the manager was rude. When the worker took are food order she was very rude when we asked about the table, in a nearly empty place. When she brought out the food set up she tossed it on the bar. We said we were done and she made a commitment about not getting nice treatment because we questioned their rule. This place used to be packed on Fridays but I can see why people go around the corner. She even said we could go around the corner and wait 45 min. We did and enjoyed it.

It has great food. With old time atmosphere.

You have to try the Reuben Burger at least once! Baskets typically come with chips but I definitely recommend the upgrade to fries...always on point.

I had a 1/2 rack of ribs and my wife had the portabella sandwich and both were very good. We both enjoyed the neighborhood bar atmosphere.

Had lunch early Sunday afternoon, pretty busy for football & stuff. Food was good, Sara was great. Think she could have used a little help.

I love this place. Tucked away in Franksville it's easy to miss when you drive through. Look for it on Google maps! Its cozy, they have homemade soup, burgers, sandwiches. Nice big bar, you can watch sports events on the 2 TVs right in front of you. Great eating space with high top tables, and even a pool table. Best yet: outdoor seating sheltered from the road and nicely landscaped. Great small town feel... those are the best kind of bars.

I had a shrimp fry 6 large shrimp fries coleslaw and dill pickle very very good perfectly cooked 9.95 what a deal my friend had a cod fry 3 pieces of cod perfect and no fishy smell and white inside homemade potato chips coleslaw and pickle 8.95 . A must try

Love the chill atmosphere at Cabbage Heads. The food is delicious and Karen is always thinking of new soups and interesting dinner combinations. Fish Fry is excellent, and I love taco Tuesdays!

Stopped for a business meeting/lunch. They have a back dining room so you don't have to eat in the bar area. Good sandwich variety, and we all agreed, delicious too! I'll plan more work lunches there and sure I'll go back on my own time (to also enjoy a cold beer)!

Great cheese burgers. Home made potato chips, or fries. Both were good.I usually burn my burgers, so I can recognize a good one. Nicely grilled, and the bun was also grilled top.So the bun was able to stand up to the condiments without getting soggy.

I lived around the corner from this place for 2 months and made the mistake of not going here every day. The burgers are delicious, the ambiance is cozy, and the people are friendly. Get the cheese curds as well.

Outdoor seating. Bartender was wearing a mask, which offered great piece of mind. Food and drinks were delicious!

Very small but very good food i eat there couple times a year

Never been here before, the employees and customers were friendly and accomodating. Not much to look at but we will return.

Both the Walleye and Perch win in our household! We like to add light Parmesan cheese and sea salt over the chips. Excellent with lemon and tarter.... all is delicious and fresh tasting!

My fiancé and I moved to Franksville in July and have quickly come to love the quaintness of Cabbage Heads. The food is great. The service is amazing and friendly. The local “feels” are all there. I highly recommend it.
